We have posted an article on our web site regarding ERM and the Daylight Saving Time change.

I applied patches according to the following instructions:

    1. Apply Server patch KB933360 replaces KB931836
    2. Apply Workstation patch KB933360 replaces KB931836
    3. Apply Exchange CDO patch KB926666
    4. You may need to also apply KB932599
    5. Ensure that all affected meetings on the ERM-managed resource calendars in the extended DST period have their "Show time as" set to "Free". To help automate this, you can download a free script at:  http://www.swinc.com/products/ERM/dst.asp
    6. Run the rebasing tool (MSEXTMZ.Exe) against the Exchange server, rather than the Outlook Time Zone Tool (TZMove.Exe), for all events (recurring/single)

After running the two scripts on each of my resources, any meetings after March 11th are all showing as "Free". I ran the rebasing tool next and that didn't seem to change anything. Any suggestions?

How did you do step 3 above?  Did you use the supplied scripts or did you manually adjust each resource by logging into them and setting scheduled time to show up as free.

You would have to do that process in reverse by running the 2nd script to return the resources to showing time as busy or logging into the resource manually and doing the same.

I'm curious though if you ran the scripts as I'm having trouble running them due to permissions I believe.

The scripts used to set the calendar events can be found at:  http://www.swinc.com/products/ERM/dst.asp.  As events are rebased/updated by the Outlook or Exchange Time Zone Tool, ERM will process the event and set the status to "busy".  If an event does not get processed by the Outlook/Exchange tool and no update is processed, ERM will not process the event either and it's status will remain at "free".
